Springtime Florals 2010

If you're looking for 2010 spring florals, you've come to the right place! I'll keep adding as I catch'em! (They'll be sorted newest to oldest) Currently, images are from Karen's garden as well as the Nix Nature Center in Laguna Canyon. Check back often - spring is in the air!!!

On our day hike at Nix, we couldn't help but HEAR this red diamond rattlesnake. The ranger said that this is not a common sighting in the area and thanked us for the picture. This was taken from about 10' away. You could here the rattle for 40 feet in all directions, so hikers were letting each other know that this snake was "up ahead".
