Individual Headshot / Portrait Pricing Guide (In Studio)

June 17, 2017

Quick Tip: If you know how to edit images yourself, go for the "budget" package. Most choose the "regular" package, which gives them printable digitals, as well as resized digitals for social media, email, the web and beyond...

Budget DIY ($30)

Ideal for the DIY (do it yourself) individual experienced with digital editing. I'll shoot it, you edit it - 'nuff said!

Shooting time: Usually 5 to 10 minutes in my HB sitting studio.

Take aways: JPG originals, downloaded via the cloud from secure website or sent via email.

Resized for web: No

USB stick: No

Looks: 1

Proof sheet: No

Edits: Very minimal, if any!  You'll need to crop, adjust and resize the images yourself - that's why it's the "DIY" package at the lowest price.

Comments:  The budget package is for the digital "do-it-yourself" person.  I've got the camera and lighting gear, you add the editing work and you've got yourself a very affordable, quality portrait to share on social media...

Regular ($40)

Provides you basic, ready to use images for printing or social media.  Perfect for professional networks like LinkedIn.

Shooting time: Usually 10 to 20 minutes in my HB sitting studio.  More time if needed, let's get this shot right for you!

Take aways: JPG originals, downloaded via the cloud from my secure website or via email.

Resized for web: Yes, along with full sized JPGs.

USB stick: No.

Looks:  Up to 2 or 3 if you want.  Call me to discuss clothing.

Premium Portraiture - $150 to $250

Designed for those who want a more fully edited portrait look.

Take aways:  JPG originals, downloaded via the cloud from my secure website.

Resized for web: Yes, along with original JPGs.

USB stick:  Available, but easier to download and no sales tax!

Half Day Rate $300*, Full Day Rate $600*

*There may be additional charges for travel, assistants, hair, make up and expenses - it all depends on the project.  Save money over the hourly rate by planning for either a basic half day rate of $300, or a full day rate of $600.  Contact me to discuss your needs and I'll be happy to put together a quote for you!

Miscellaneous / Custom Editing ($80/hr)

Additional editing is always available, but by request.  Custom editing pricing is charged at my $80/hr editing rate.  (To put it in better perspective, that's about $20 per image.)

Printing Services

More and more people have been asking for prints.  I do not do my own printing, but I'm happy to coordinate with you and send some (or all) of your favoriate images to your local Costco store.  You simply visit your store, pay and pick up your order at Costco's regular low price.  Call me to discuss pricing, but often sending the images to your Costco with your membership number is included in my post-processing (editing) fee.
